Lucy Distinguished Service Award by the Virginia Association of Broadcasters. Named for the founder of the VAB, this award honors a broadcaster who spent a significant part of his or her career at one or more Virginia broadcast properties and who has become a leader in the state's broadcast industry.

Linda’s raised two "awesome" children, Mayme Beth and Ben, who both live and work in Richmond. She loves staying fit, and has completed the Richmond Half Marathon, and enters the Monument Avenue 10k annually. She’s also a daily Pilates devotee and recently purchased an acoustic guitar to get back into playing again. Linda graduated from Henrico County's Douglas Freeman High School, and received her B.A. from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. concentrating on Journalism and Theater.
