I could never have sold that house long distance without her. She stuck with it and was compassionate, honest, and real the whole way.
My father died last summer and I needed to sell his house in Williamsburg, VA - but I live in Seattle. His friend suggested I call Denise and it was the best advice! It was a difficult property because my dad had been taking care of my bed-ridden step mom for many years, and hadn’t had the energy to stay on top of things with the house. Many things came up that I couldn’t do from a distance, things that would normally be the home owner/seller’s responsibility. Denise stepped up every time as if it was her own house, as if I was a member of her own family who needed help. She checked on the property after storms, arranged a house cleaner to come when needed (and cleaned some things herself), helped me figure out ways to clear out the strong cigarette smoke smell, met with contractors, sent me lots of photos, and a million other details I’m forgetting now. It was a slog, but she stuck with it and persisted until we sold the house. She was patient and professional, helped me take things step by step, and stayed positive. Also Dorene in your contractor concierge dept. was a great help in finding contractors when repairs were needed. That was an invaluable service, thank you so much!

We would highly recommend her to anyone selling or buying a home. It felt like we had gained a friend and we’re sad to think that the home buying process was over because we enjoyed our experience with her so much!She looked out for us as first time homebuyers. She made us aware of things we might not have known and kept us updated through the entire process. She was wonderful in everything!
