The key words for real estate are known to be “location, location, location”; for a realtor, it’s “results, results, results.” Mary Burruss handled the sale of the house I was living in and the search for and purchase of the one I moved to, and results is what she got.

She set the sale price for my previous house at a level that I thought we had no chance of reaching, but she arranged the staging and presentation beautifully, and we got it!

Meanwhile, the search for a new place to live was going on, in the midst of an extremely competitive housing market. It took some doing, and more than one promising property was snapped up by buyers with deeper pockets. But then she found me to the extremely attractive townhouse that is currently my home, and that had it all: good location, well maintained, and extremely pretty view out the back. On top of it all, we managed to avoid the bidding war that was a real possibility for such a property by being first in line to meet the buyer’s asking price.

So, bottom line: Mary achieved excellent results for both sale and purchase, as a direct result of her boundless energy and sure instinct. She has my highest recommendation.

Mary did so much to make our home sale go smoothly! She diligently researched similar properties until we had an excellent idea of how to price the house so that we could both sell quickly and get the best possible return on our investment. She guided us through the process of getting the house ready to sell and shepherded everyone through the days before closing. We got an offer for full price after one day on the market and closed in less than two weeks. Great job, Mary Burruss!

Mary Burrus was a delight to work with - kept us on schedule - got a tie for the record price in my neighborhood and marketed the house beautifully.
