Tom and I have always loved the Gloucester area and the York River. We dreamed about having a vacation home that would eventually be our retirement home. A few years back, we called Cheri Nice whose name was on a real estate sign in a yard that we saw from the bough of our boat. We left a message for Cheri who called us back before we sailed out of the cove. We looked at the house with her 2 hours later. The house was not a good match for us but Cheri Nice was the perfect match. Cheri showed us a few places, which we determined together, might be our dream-come-true home. After 3 or 4 more showings we put a contract in on a place that we adore. Now, a decade later, we haven't moved in permanently but we are looking forward to it everyday. We also look forward to seeing Cheri when we are at the River. She is a dear friend and it is always a pleasure to catch up with her!

Cheri was great to work with. She responded quickly to our calls and was very professional and knowledgeable. As we were moving from another state, she video record homes for us and help explain what we might be seeing if we could not see it clearly. When she was not available she made sure someone would be. We definitely recommend her.

Cheri's expertise was invaluable to us when selling our condo and buying the home our kids will grow up in. I really appreciated her feedback and guidance, I felt like we were in good hands the entire time. The sale of our condo ended up being much higher than the appraised value and she did a great job of reading the market and putting us in an even better place to make a strong offer for a larger home in a tough market. She showed us a variety of homes when looking to buy which made us feel even more strongly that we had made the right choice when the time came. I would absolutely recommend her, I think about how lucky we are each time I come home to our new house!

Due to the pandemic and also buying a house from out of state, Cheri helped us through home showings both in person and also through Zoom. She helped us secure a contract on a house in this crazy real estate market and then through a few subsequent issues, even for a while with her being out the country! Even miles away, she gave us every thing she had and helped us every step of the way.
