Blackheath is a beautiful yet challenging 6,621 yard course rated as “one of the best 12 places to play” by Washington Golf Monthly. Aptly named, many of Blue Heron’s holes are set amongst the wetlands providing ex- cellent opportunities to view wildlife along with vexing water hazards. At 6,873 yards, it is the longest of three Ford’s Colony courses. Marsh Hawk, with thick woods on a rolling- to-hilly terrain, has a variety of sand bunkers and ponds. This 6,700 yard course is a favorite for many state and national tournaments.
