Real Estate is my passion. My father was a builder in the Hampton Roads area. Since childhood, I accompanied him to the construction sites to help. Picking up trash, riding on the tractors, rescuing animals . . . all in a days work. Not surprisingly, in 1981 I married a builder. In 1994, I decided to get involved in the sales side of the business. After taking the required courses and getting my licenses, I became an agent in the fall of that year.
I love what I do! Having the opportunity to work with so many buyers and sellers has been a great blessing to me.
My philosophy? "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Selling or buying a home is one of the most important decisions we make. I provide my clients with the level of service I would want if I was selling or buying my house.
I'm a Virginia girl, born and raised in Newport News. I attended college at Virginia Tech. After college I moved to California to work in the computer industry. That is also where I earned my Masters in Business Administration. After fifteen years in California, I returned to my roots - Virginia and Real Estate. I like to get up early before the world really starts moving. I like the quiet time, most mornings I sit and watch God's creations on the river.
Favorite destination
My favorite destination is anywhere on the water. I love the carefree life of sailing and go whenever I can.
I Love Yorktown because
The people. Yorktown is not quite as rushed as the rest of the Peninsula. People here have time to stop and talk. In many areas you still feel like you are in the country.
