We live in Texas, and I visited Newport News once to look for houses. Debi took me to half a dozen, at my pace, which was quick and efficient. By the time I left, I knew the neighborhoods and the housing market well. When I left, Debi acted as my eyes and ears, taking videos of half a dozen houses for me and sending them to me. She was so thorough that my wife and I made an offer on a house without having physically seen it. The house needed work after the inspection. Debi worked with me to make amendments to the contract. She was quick, attentive, and precise. She arranged for contractors to do the work, letting them into the house and updating me on their progress. I always knew what was going on, and Debi was on top of everything. She negotiated for us, worked for us, and communicated with us. She helped us negotiate a price just hundreds below the next highest bidder. She worked directly with me to amend the contract for inspection repairs. Her recommendations were always right on. She arranged for local, trustworthy (and inexpensive!) contractors to come out to the house and prepare estimates and do repairs. She responded to texts and emails way past business hours. She solved problems for us as they came up with minimal effort on our part.
