Moving to Virginia has been a huge decision for us. We have never lived outside of Michigan before. When we asked for a realtor from Liz Moore to show us a house we had seen on Zillow, we got so lucky. If you believe in divinity, fate, whatever you want to call it, it happened that day. Cathy didn’t just help us find our home, which we love, but she represented the State of Virginia to us with hospitality beyond our expectations. She never passed up the opportunity to point out the sites we could take our children to, the schools, the churches, shopping, etc.
It was evident to us that she had a great rapport with the other realtors in the area. This can be a great benefit during the negotiation process. The answer to any question we had on a property was easily sought out by Cathy; usually a quick phone call to someone and it was done. Our calls to her were always returned quickly.
Cathy has a light hearted nature and she has a gift of seeing the positive in people and in her environment. We appreciated her ability to perceive our needs after just getting to know us. We always felt she had our best interest at heart, and still do. Also, Cathy tolerated visits to some crazy homes at my husband’s request, she is very patient.
Cathy checks on us now and then to see how we are adjusting and to answer our many questions about the area. We are thankful for our first new friend in Virginia.
