Recently we completed the very successful sale of our home in Ford’s Colony—a happy day for us and for our outstanding realtor, Deelynn Robinson of Liz Moore Realty. We had attended more than one of her annual Ford’s Colony Real Estate Seminars, which were highly educational and informative. When we decided to move west, there was no question about whom we would choose as our realtor. Our move from Virginia to Colorado was a long-term project and as we prepared, Deelynn patiently offered us her considerable expertise.
In order to understand our objectives, she listened carefully and we trusted her professional advice without hesitation. As we prepared to put the house on the market, Deelynn wisely suggested that we request a preliminary review from our HOA to discover and rectify any issues, avoiding any last-minute headaches. Her many years of experience along with her awareness of current market conditions and HOA requirements were invaluable to us.
When it came time to list the house, Deelynn’s mastery of both online and print media approaches was abundantly apparent. She patiently waited for a sunny day to take outdoor photos of our house and the interior photography was stunning. (We didn’t know what a gorgeous house we had been living in! )
During our first weekend on the market we had 27 showings, which was great. Surprisingly, we received an offer from a couple living in another state who had never seen the house in person. It was a full-price, cash offer, but with a couple of complicated contingencies. Here Deelynn’s vast experience came into play again, as she carefully investigated the offer to advise us whether or not to accept it. She was able to negotiate a contract on our behalf that preserved our options. Her judgment was spot-on and the sale closed successfully at full price. Even the closing process was a pleasure—a final demonstration of what a class act Deelynn Robinson is. Needless to say, we were very pleased!
