From listing to closing, the the range of problems that surface both minor and major right up to the day before the sellers and I went to closing. In particular, that one nerve racking incident I will never forget, less that a week prior to our closing date. Regardless as to what other issues surfaced, you remained composed and helped calm my nerves with two home inspections, and with questions potential buyers had when they looked at the house. Much appreciate the referrals you provided and always answering promptly the many questions and concerns I had. I think you will agree that selling is by far more demanding than buying. Shirley is an absolute bulldog...with the exception of a bulldog's 'looks'. She is absolutely tenacious on behalf of her client in pursuing the client's best interests. Beyond that, Shirley realls 'knows' her clients ~ she knew the first house we saw and 'wanted' wasn't for us...in part, I could tell that from the blood that was trickling down from her biting down on her lips so hard as were working to put in an offer. Shirley left no stone unturned, even at closing she was sharp as a tack and going over every listed cost no matter how small with a fine tooth comb. liz Moore completely rocks, your one client rule (no dual representation) is absolutely the right approach. I could never have sold that house long distance without her. She stuck with it and was compassionate, honest, and real the whole way.
My father died last summer and I needed to sell his house in Williamsburg, VA - but I live in Seattle. His friend suggested I call Denise and it was the best advice! It was a difficult property because my dad had been taking care of my bed-ridden step mom for many years, and hadnâ€™t had the energy to stay on top of things with the house. Many things came up that I couldnâ€™t do from a distance, things that would normally be the home owner/sellerâ€™s responsibility. Denise stepped up every time as if it was her own house, as if I was a member of her own family who needed help. She checked on the property after storms, arranged a house cleaner to come when needed (and cleaned some things herself), helped me figure out ways to clear out the strong cigarette smoke smell, met with contractors, sent me lots of photos, and a million other details Iâ€™m forgetting now. It was a slog, but she stuck with it and persisted until we sold the house. She was patient and professional, helped me take things step by step, and stayed positive. Also Dorene in your contractor concierge dept. was a great help in finding contractors when repairs were needed. That was an invaluable service, thank you so much!
