How lucky we were and are to have Nan.
Nan was instrumental in our purchasing a new house and selling our old one. Early in the process, before we had anything specific in mind, she spent time giving advice on what repairs and updates we might want to do before considering selling the house. A few weeks went by, our still thinking an actual move was in the distance, until we saw exactly what we wanted advertised in the newspaper and immediately called Nan. She arranged for a walk-through the next day. Within a month we were in our new home and the old one was sold two months later, thanks to Nan.
