About Alison McPherson
Hi, I’m Alison! I was raised in Yorktown, attended George Mason University, where I obtained a B.S. in Marketing and Event Management/Tourism. I married my high school sweetheart, Josh, and his career at the Shipyard brought us back to the Peninsula after college graduation.
Josh and I bought our first home in 2013 (a fixer-upper Cape Cod in Hidenwood with plenty of wood paneling) and that experience lit my heart on fire for real estate. I loved the entire process: checking out listings, negotiations, picking my agent’s brain about every possible outcome, and most importantly, turning the key to our new home at the end of the process. I’ll never forget the rainy weather on our closing day, how musty and dusty the house was from being vacant, and even though we had no toilet paper, we finally had a place to call our own. That feeling…is amazing, ya’ll. I look forward to having the opportunity to help you have a similar feeling of your own.
I am no stranger to helping guide my clients through huge, life-changing decisions, having spent 10 years in the wedding and event industry. I thrive on the joy of witnessing a client seeing everything they’ve wanted come to fruition, building relationships, and delighting people with above-and-beyond service.
On a personal note, I love a good Sunday brunch, spending time with my two rescue dogs, and trying new local craft brews!
I am so excited to help you find your next place to call home or sell your current home! Give me a call, I would love to chat.
