I love puzzles. Sometimes you get lucky when you think you have found the perfect piece on the first try, and sometimes you must look a little harder to find it. You can’t force a piece, it must fit. It is the same in Real Estate. Like puzzles, there are similarities in many interactions with clients initially but then you get to the heart of the puzzle, skill takes over and the real adventure begins in finding that perfect home and/or in the sale of what will be your previous address. You can’t force it, it must fit.
Personal-
My name is Simone Wilkins Jones. I am an Army brat, married to a Marine brat who was also in the Army. Growing up, we moved a total of 15 times, landing finally in Yorktown in 1983. After graduating from Alabama and starting my own family, there were seven more moves for me, including 2 homes in Windsor Forest. I understand the stresses and the planning involved with a move, and I’m happy to assist with packing boxes, finding movers, planting flowers and mulching beds, picking up a paint brush, calling the cleaning companies and the like.
Background-
In my professional life I have worn many hats; retail store manager, district and regional manager, stay at home Mom, almost two decades as an elementary school teacher, and finally my last career as a Real Estate Agent. These career experiences have prepared me to successfully navigate through your real estate questions, concerns, needs and wants. I’m an active listener and communicator, confirming understanding through constant communication. I’m a problem solver, hence the puzzles from above, and am calm and focused during the occasional stressful moment. I am an avid researcher and driven by data, though I know there are exceptions to what the data may tell you, but only occasionally. I’m a lifelong learner, so there are more classrooms in my future, just on the other side of the desk now. I am task oriented; I want that check mark in the box (mine are backwards because I am left-handed, or maybe right-handed check marks are backwards…) when completed. But the check mark does not mean our client-agent friendship is over, this relationship does not end at the closing table. My clients have used these words to describe what I offered to them as their agent; very responsive, absolute pleasure to work with, helped to prep the house for sale, walked us through the entire process step by step, hands on and compassionate, took care of everything, an amazing project manager, always there to answer questions, very enthusiastic, super understanding and easy to work with. With the help of my clients from my first year in business I was awarded Rookie of the Year. I continue to hone my craft and to represent my clients, with their happiness being my number one motivator, and I will continue to do so for as long as I am in real estate.
Goals-
-That the process of buying or selling or both, with me as your agent, will be easy but exciting, enjoyable and goal attaining, and will take the time that it takes for your satisfaction.
-To give superior client/customer service before, during and after the closing.
-Having my clients as my biggest ambassadors, sharing my name with others that I can assist.
Non-Negotiables-
-Doing what is right for my clients
-Finding that need and filling it
-Honesty, integrity and patience
In Conclusion-
Like the ‘Ah Ha’ moment that teachers can’t wait to see on their students' faces, I look so very forward to your, “No question, this is it!”, whether it is about your next home or the offer you received on your soon-to-be past address. Our goals will be the same and I am more than happy to take the lead or to assist. I would love to talk with you about what we can do together in your search or sale of your first, second, retirement, investment home or land transaction.
