I am so happy to chosen Richmond, Virginia to call home in 2000. Two years after I made Richmond my home, I decided to get my real estate license and I've never looked back.
I chose a career in real estate to utilize my experience in sales and marketing, and my degree in business administration from Salem College. However, the driving force for my choice was my enjoyment of working with people. Selling and purchasing a home is a very personal experience. I love connecting with people at this personal level and this, combined with my training and education, has allowed me to find success in this field.
I truly enjoy my work and am have experienced the market at every point, from the boom in the early 2000's to the bust in 2007-2008, to todays market of recovery. Each of these markets have afforded me knowledge and experience that assists me with each and every client.
I have learned over the years that no two transactions are the same, each client brings something very different to the table and that my job is to work to understand my clients needs so that I can individualize my efforts to offer a great home buying or home selling experience
My job as a Realtor requires a lot of different hats; salesperson, marketer, negotiator, stager and counselor, just to name a few. My goal is to help my buyers and seller navigate the road to their home sale or purchase with as few bumps in the road as possible.
In my free time, first, I am a mom of four children, and a grandmother to two. Most of my free time is spent with my husband, children and grand children. We have one daughter at home and she keeps us busy on the soccer and field hockey fields where we love to watch her play. For personal time I enjoy gardening, reading, spending time with my girlfriends and getting involved in volunteer work.
