Memphian by Birth, Virginian by Choice.
I graduated from the University of Memphis in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Science and Education, concentrating in Interior Design. The first half of my career was spent knee-deep in kitchen and bathroom renovations—not just as a designer, but as a creative partnerin the middle of dust, demolition, and the daily chaos that comes with transforming a home.
I didn't just ask, “What color cabinets do you like?”I wanted to know whyyou only cooked on Sundays, what made you dread weeknight dinners, why you avoided your bathtub, and whether you'd actually take a long soak if the tub was deep enough and the water stayed hot. Those conversations revealed how people truly lived—and what they truly needed.
From there, I worked alongside my clients to choose materials that would stand the test of time, improve the home's integrity, and add future value—while spotting potential deal-breakers before they became expensive regrets. I learned how to manage expectations with honesty, adapt on the fly when permits or craftsmanship shifted the plan, and keep everything moving from “we should remodel” to “I can't believe this is my home.”
I love Williamsburg for its small-town charm—it reminds me of growing up in Clarksdale, Mississippi, where neighbors knew each other by name and community came first. Here, just like there, it's the people who make this place truly feel like home.
Since moving to Williamsburg in 2008, I've built deep connections within the community I now call home. When I'm not working with clients, you might find me cruising around Indigo Park in my purple golf cart with Daisy, my English Cream Golden Retriever, and Brown Kitty, our 15-year-old tabby. I'm married to my college sweetheart, and we're proud parents to three daughters—and I'm “Mam Maw” to my sweet grandson Ashton who will turn 4 on September 12th.
Why Hire Me?
Well... Let's talk and then you decide.
I know more than I look like I would about real property.
You know, They aren't making anymore land right?
With a degree in Interior Design, I bring a strong understanding of trends, staging, and presentation. Before listing your home, I'll assess your furnishings, paint colors, and overall appeal, then provide a tailored list of suggestions to help your home shine. If needed, I also offer a complimentary staging consultation.
Together, we'll decide if a Pre-Listing Home Inspection or Pre-Listing Appraisal will benefit your sale—and if so, I cover the cost. I also provide professional photography at no charge, ensuring your home is captured in its best light.
For me, real estate isn't just about buying and selling—it's about understanding how people livein their homes, preparing a property so it tells its very best story, and guiding my clients through the process with the same partnership, problem-solving, and personal care that defined my years as a designer.
I love Williamsburg because
Growing up in Clarksdale, Mississippi taught me the value of a close-knit community. Williamsburg has that same small-town spirit—where familiar faces, friendly hellos, and genuine connections make it a place you’re proud to call home.
