About Jo Lewis

Jo Lewis began her real estate career over 20 years ago in new construction with Centex Homes. Prior to that, this 1997 University of Richmond graduate worked as a supervisor for Comp Management and CIGNA Insurance. There she managed a team of 18-20 claims adjusters and managed over $20 million in insurance reserves. Jo honed her management skills in the insurance industry and has a proven ability to analyze problems and synthesize solutions. Her clients included Richmond and Roanoke Public Schools, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and Meadwestvaco. In 2001, Jo obtained her MBA from Averett University. Over the years, Jo has worked for Toll Brothers, StyleCraft Homes, Stanley Martin Homes and has represented local builders including Ray Williams Custom Homes and most recently Perkinson Homes. In addition, Jo has enjoyed helping her clients with resale transactions, always negotiating the best deal possible for them and being a champion in their corner. Jo earned her broker's license in 2016, and closed over $18 million in sales volume in 2021. Jo returned to Liz Moore & Associates in 2022 as the managing broker. She has a strong desire to meet agents where they are; helping them to maximize their potential and reach their real estate business goals. She does this by fostering an environment of encouragement, education, innovation, respect, and professionalism. Jo is the mother of two adult daughters, Sydney, andRyann. A perpetual student, she enjoys learning about a variety of topics, riding her Harley, and spending time with family. Jo's super power is GRATITUDE.
