About Amy Kearney

Amy Kearney's path to real estate is anything but ordinary-and that's exactly what makes her such a strong advocate for her clients.After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Christopher Newport University and earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Amy spent 20 years caring for patients before making the transition into real estate in 2020.

Her background in healthcare sharpened her attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to guide people calmly through major decisions-skills she now uses daily to help buyers and sellers feel confident and supported from start to finish.

Amy serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Peninsula Association of Realtors and is actively involved in Public Policy and Professional Standards, staying ahead of industry changes so her clients are always protected and informed. Together with her husband and business partner, Jason, she has earned the Outstanding Salesmanship Club award every year since they partnered as a team.

Married since 1997 after meeting on the softball field (and deciding after just six months that forever sounded like a great idea), Amy and Jason are proud parents to their daughter Bria, who is in college, and their energetic Australian Labradoodle, Mick Jagger.

Amy loves travel, reading, and giving back through organizations like Habitat for Humanity and The Virginia Living Museum. Known for her loyalty, honesty, and quick wit, she is deeply committed to relieving stress for her clients and making sure they feel cared for every step of the way.

Because buying or selling a home deserves both heart and strategy-and Amy brings plenty of both.
