About Shelby Ward
Licensed Virginia Realtor on the Southern Select Team with Liz Moore & Associates.
Shelby is a big believer in helping her clients reach the most educated and confident decision when buying or selling a home and sharing their stories. Knowledge is power, applied knowledge is powerful! Throughout the entire process she can be found every step of the way, explaining every step diligently, and answering any question you might have, big or small!
She is passionate about customer service and believes in transparency and honest lines of communication - but also moments of joy and fun that come with it, as they go hand in hand! She is a friend first, Realtor second!
Shelby started her career in real estate with a homebuilder, who she worked with for 5+ years. Throughout those years she first started in her role as construction support, working closely with the floor plans, counties, and vendors and eventually transitioned into selling. She became so passionate about the entire process by diving in and asking any and all questions she could!
There is nothing more in this life that Shelby enjoys than seeing the people around her achieve their dreams and goals. She will be your biggest cheerleader and support during every step & hurdle of the decision-making process to guide you through, as she understands this is one of the biggest decisions of your life. It won’t just stop at closing either, she has a knack for turning her clients into friends and friends into family! That is one aspect of her job she loves the most!
She has lived (and sold) in many areas of Richmond including South Chesterfield, Chester, Midlothian, Henrico, Short Pump, Glen Allen, Hanover, and currently resides in the Museum District in the City! Shelby is knowledgeable, loves all things Richmond, and loves sharing all the fun hidden gems she comes across with family and friends.
When not selling real estate, you might find her running half marathons (or the streets of the city – make sure to say hello!), hiking, enjoying the happy hour at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, volunteering to support important causes and helping others find the causes they are passionate about, and of course, eating tacos – Don’t Look Back in RVA has the best! She also loves watching nightly episodes of Friends and spending time with her 5-year-old Black Lab/Great Dane mix – JAX, he is the biggest momma’s boy!
