About Vicki Burnette

A Virginia native, I was born and raised on Deep Creek Road in Newport News. Being a “Creeker” gave me a sense of community as a young child. My parents lived over what most people remember as the Marina Restaurant while they built our home just up the street. My Dad was a retired police officer and a tug boat captain, you would always find him near the water. Mom did everything, but what I remember most are the years when my parents owned a thrift/antique store together.

My husband, David, and I married young, he is also a native of the peninsula, and my high school sweetheart. We purchased our first home in Sanlun Lakes in Hampton. An adorable Cape Cod. Fast forward, two children and two dogs later we were pregnant with our third child and decided it was time to move to a place that met specific needs for our family’s growth. On this new journey is where I learned the value of a real estate agent.  Our agent helped us sell our existing home and find a new home. She made what seemed to be an insurmountable task, doable. She walked and talked us through each step, helping to ease our worries while chasing our toddlers around. To this day, she remains the model for how I do business.

I find myself so very grateful to have lived my life in the Hampton Roads area, and the trust my clients have put in me to represent them in their real estate transactions.  Whether it is future planning, down sizing, dream home searching, or even moving out of state, I can help. It is my hope that you will allow me to serve you in your next real estate adventure.
