About Sally Sheard

I have always dreamed of a career in Real Estate and now I’m living it!  I have a passion for helping people realize their dream of homeownership by identifying and removing roadblocks to make the process as smooth as possible.  For me, there is nothing more gratifying than the feeling of accomplishment when I know I have helped someone achieve something they might not have thought possible.

I moved to the Hampton Roads area from Missouri in 2011.  My now husband, Mark, and I spent 3.5 years in a long distance relationship, me in Missouri, Mark in Newport News.  Mark eventually won the battle!  He was very persistent and I finally decided to marry him, moving across the country to start a new life.

I spent the first 18 months learning the area and seeking out all the wonderful things Hampton Roads has to offer.  I love being close to the beach yet a relatively short drive to our nation’s capital or to the mountains.  Through my first job in the area, working for the Seaford Baptist Church in York County, I had the opportunity to get to know York County and some great people and I just love the area.

Whether buying or selling a home please call me and let me guide you through the process.  I would love to hear from you!

Neighborhood
I live in Colony Pines. I like it because it is a quiet and family friendly neighborhood. A great place for kids.

Favorite Restaurant
Circa 1918 in Hilton Village. Always something new and interesting on the menu.

Superpower
Problem solving. I thrive on helping my friends, family and clients solve problems to help them move on in life and business.

On my bucket list:
To take a tour of Air Force One. I don't have to ride on it. I just want to see inside.

Favorite destination
Wolverhampton, England. It is not known for beauty or for anything historical. But, it is where I grew up and where my parents still live.

Hobby
Cooking and baking. If I'm bored, I'm probably trying to decide what to bake next.
