Hi RVA, I'm Kelly! Before falling in love with this beautiful area and moving to Richmond, I was born and raised a Jersey girl! I spent my first 21 years there before packing up and heading down south! Shortly after graduating college (4 days to be exact), I married my high school sweet heart, Luke, and joined him at Fort Benning, Georgia, where he was stationed with the Army. I am very proud of Luke's accomplishments serving our country during his 4 years with the 75th Ranger Regiment (Rangers Lead the Way!). After his military service was completed, my husband's next career brought us to Richmond, where we instantly felt "at home". It is true, Virginia is for lovers!
Luke and I purchased our first home in Chesterfield in 2018, a secluded starter home on 5 acres of land. While it was a beautiful house and property, the COVID-19 pandemic made us realize how much we missed living in a neighborhood, where we could socialize and be around more people. In 2020, we purchased our current home in Moseley with our 2 rescue puppies: Sunny (a Coconut Retriever from Puerto Rico) and George (an American Bull Dog Mix from a local rescue agency). We are a little crazy, and decided to bring home another pup, Ricky, in October 2021, who is a Redbone Coonhound, also from a local rescue agency. We are blessed with all the puppy love and snuggles for sure.
The purchase and sale of our first home, along with the purchase of our current home could not have been a smoother process for us. Both experiences have been some of the most exciting and happiest times of our lives. This is one of the many reasons I knew that real estate was my calling! I was certain that I wanted to make everyone feel the joy and excitement that we both felt while selling and buying our homes.
